Hurricane Sandy Hits The Rockaways: Photographs From All Over The Rockaways
There are no words to say what we all have witnessed. Life is such
a strange journey. Here are some photos of this wonderful place. Since my family goes back to 1915 in Edgemere & Far Rockaway, this is very sad to me, and to all that love this spot called home. I feel these photographs are now a part of the Rockaways even if I don’t want them to be. God Bless all the people who have suffered and lost so much. And to all those souls who lost their lives. We all pray for them and their families.
I live 3 blocks from Lake Erie in Cleveland Ohio. The wind and rain was crazy here. We lost power and heat for two days, Many people are still with out power. The Lake was reported higher then it has ever been with great waves up to 25 feet.
