  2. This are photos of myself, I’m so honored to see my photo’s still posted, It fills my heart with joy. It truly makes me sad to review the images of what Life was, back then, In the boat is me with my sister Christine, My grandparents, opened the once open Tile City with my father. My grandfather owned Dependable Floors with my grandmother Marge. I wish I could see Rockaway restored like it was from Bch 20th street to Bch 44th street. Nancy Lieberman and her family Friends of my family, Teddy Lieberman owned the Palace Hotel on Bch 31st St. and the Breakers which I used to run through when my grandmother painted the entire hotel over the winters in freezing temps. I have changed my email to the one I’m listing and I really appreciate your retention of my younger photo’s on your site, Hopefully they will still be available long after I’m gone.
    Sincerely yours:
    James Anthony Marciana

  3. Hello Anthony, Today I was organizing my Family large collection of the Rockaway Life we lived. I took a break and and saw your collection of wonderful images. Some moments are similar to my families. Even the Bungalows look similar.

The unique background image of the Boardwalk enhances your page! I want you to know that it is one of my Professional Images I made around 1967. I shared it to the FRHS webpage when it was growing years ago. It has been appropriated some many time I don’t concern myself beyond asking that Photo Credit: Mark W. Beckerman be added to the videos, musical works or pages like yours. Let me know you see this message and add my credit to your page. I would appreciate that. Thanks, Mark/Marco(Feb. 7,2019)

    1. Hi Mark,
This is Bruce Baumwoll. Anthony shared his photographs with me and facebook. My blog http://www.baumwollarchives has been seen by hundreds of thousands of people worldwide and I don’t make money from any of it. Only a small amount on my blog is of the Rockaways and my family’s history there and other peoples histories of the Rockaways.
I certainly feel you should get credit. If you would like, I would gladly do a post of your photographs that you feel are iconic and credit them to you. I have found that pictures on websites like mine can be indexed on search engines which pictures on facebook don’t. If you have a blog and create your own post, the pictures get linked into the google search engine and the photos live on forever. Let me know if you would like me to do a post of your iconic photographs of the Rockaways on my blog? I would enjoy having your photographs live on.
      Best,
      Bruce Baumwoll

      1. Hello Bruce, I am very happy to see your quick and thoughtful reply. Thanks for adding the credit. I have kept a low profile on the internet due to numerous obligations, so a Google search would not reveal much about diverse activities.

I am getting to scan numerous images and will gladly share them with you. We will stay in touch!

        Regards, Mark
